This can happen only in India. People take the law into their own hands.
A woman had an affair with a married man. His wife came to know about it. She along with a group of other women accosted the woman. They kicked her, punched her and pulled her hair. The beating was so severe that the woman succumbed to her injuries. The law is yet to take its own course.

a friend told me her hubby has affair with another woman so now they divorce.

i think it could happen in other countries too. It all depends on the people involved. Poor woman though, a terrible way to die.
In some countries though she could have been whipped or stoned to death
