Help me Lord to find the time,
To assist the weak to climb,
Out of the pit of dark despair,
Into the sunshine where life is fair,
Time to push the frowns away,
An encouraging word to say,
Grant me time always to find,
Ways of being sweet and kind,
To my neighbour who needs my aid,
To a youngster who is a afraid,
Time for the gift of a flower,
To befriend a creature at any hour,
But never Lord, time to spare,
For a mean action anywhere.
