Bhagyalakshmi(36) suffered a multiple fracture in her right arm three months ago. With a fused elbow joint she came to Victoria Hospital for treatment. But now, nearly a week after a total elbow replacement surgery at the hospital, the patient is hopeful of restoring the movement in her right arm.
The cost of the surgery was Rs 15000(including the elbow implant of Rs 7500). The surgery has given the patient a full range of movements in her right elbow joint.
