Uncle Frank is making another trip to Dubai,
So he will not be able to interact with his blog friends for the next 35 days starting from the 4th of June 2009,
Dubai is a wonderful place,
It is always in a race,
The largest mall, the tallest building of them all,
Dubai is still having a ball,
The roads and flyovers are simply beautiful,
The tall stately buildings are extremely fine,
The weather at this time of the year is not divine,
Uncle Frank will be in Dubai for little less than a month,
But he is a bit sad that this bog site is blocked by the U A E authorities,
So uncle Frank won't be able to blog for about 35 days,
There are still a thousand different ways.

Frank will soon be off on a trip to the Holy Land,
The 3rd of June to be precise,
Soon he will see the Land where the Lord did arise,
He will be taken all around Israel,
Uncle Frank is looking forward to the trip,
Soon he will come to grip,
With what is in store for him,
Well it can't be so grim,
He will walk the way that Jesus trod,
Uncle Frank will walk rough shod,
He will see all the sights there is to see,
He will be buzzing around like a bee,
Israel here I come,
Life there must be wholesome.

Frank's Page started over a year ago,
Uncle Frank has been running to and fro,
He has been writing and writing,
But not fighting,
He has so many things to say,
Day by day,
Most of what he has to say is by way of poems,
That's the way it goes,
Uncle Frank is always on his toes,
He likes to write,

His day is now done,

Uncle Frank is back from Dubai,
And he just wants to say hi,
He had a wonderful time,
So he starts with his usual rhyme,
The weather was all through fine,
Uncle Frank went out to wine and dine,
The food served in the eating houses was good,
He, however, ate only as much as he should,
He went round all the malls,
Including the Dubai Mall the largest of them all,
Uncle Frank did some shopping,
He also went out and did some hopping,
From store to store,
Uncle Frank went to and fro,
He bought things for one and all,
Everything was available in any mall,
Uncle Frank has returned happy and well,
The weather back home is simply swell.

Its time for uncle Frank to write,
He writes like a sprite,
Well he has so much to write about,
Poor man he suffers from the gout,

And glowing,

Today is Easter,
A day to celebrate the risen Lord,
We are with Him in one accord,
Everyone seems to be busy celebrating Easter,
Frank wants to wish all his blog friends a Happy Easter,
Hope you are having a wonderful time with your near and dear ones,
You must have fun,
The Lord would like you to do that,
He is all for that,
So make merry,
But don't end up with beri beri,
Easter must be almost done in Australia and New zealand,
Over here in Asia we still have some time to go,
We can jump about to and fro,

When Christ arose on Easter morn,
In glory and in grace,

Today is Good Friday,
Tis one of the saddest days in history,
The crucificion and death of Jesus Christ is a great mystery,
He died two thousand years ago,
Seems like not so long ago,
Christ took upon Himself the sins of all mankind,
The Jews in His time put Him to death in a manner most unkind,
He hung on the cross in agony for three long hours,
Then He gave up His Spirit,
And was laid to rest,
On the third day He rose again,
And now lives on in our memory forever.

Today is Thursday,
The Lord's day,
The last Supper,
When He instituted the Holy Eucharist,
He had His beloved twelve disciples at table,
He took bread and wine,
Blessed it and gave it to them to eat and drink,
They were commanded to do the same in memory of Him,
Then they all gathered around and sang a hymn to Him,
They were all very happy that day,
Today is Maundy Thursday,
We shall be going to church to pray,

With each passing day uncle Frank is getting older,
But his heart is not getting colder,
It is instead getting bolder,
Uncle Frank goes about everywhere with a folder,
Its an old habit,
Uncle Frank is fond of rabbit,
He has a bald pate,
But he has a small coffee estate,
If you make a trip to Coorg you can visit it,
You will return after your holiday fighting fit,
Now coming to uncle Frank,
He has some money in the bank,
He is no doubt getting older,
He's not likely to wittle and moulder.

Uncle Frank's day is done,
He arose with the rising sun,
Now the sun has long since set,
There's something uncle Frank has to get,

Life won't be served up to you on a platter,

He is getting a little fatter,
He has a paunch,
He also has a beautiful launch,
He gets going,
And rowing,
There's no stopping him,

Today is Wednesday,
Uncle Frank has had a hectic day,
He's been busy as a bee,
All the same he is full of glee,
At last he's free,
Now he is up a tree,
It is full of fruit,
Mangoes are now in season,
You can eat them for any reason,
The fruit is very tasty,
Uncle Frank does not do anything hasty,
He takes his time,
And always manages to churn out another rhyme,
He does not indulge in crime,
At anytime.
